New York
Seldom Seen, former frontman
for the hip-hop trio 3rd Infintry, was born and raised
on Long Island, NY. The suburban playboy has worked
the past few years, to develop a fresh commercial sound
and his image as a ladies man/ college frat boy. By
meshing his comical and witty rhyme schemes, he creates
radio-friendly songs that capture widespread audiences,
without being considered a gimmicky white rapper. He
cleverly uses metaphors and sexual innuendos to describe
the life of a twenty something year old male on the
prowl. His maxi single featuring the party starter "All
Day Baby" has sold roughly 12,000 copies worldwide
since its recent release. Prior to leading “3rd
Inf.”, Seldom had a budding career as a solo performer,
and a hit single “Lemme Hit That,” produced
by Jazdout which was featured on the series finale of
MTV’s Undressed. His target audience continues
to be MTV’s high school & college set, though
he attains street credibility with more in depth conceptual
tracks that showcase his more lyrical side along with
appearances on underground mixtapes. He has been on
the showcase circuit performing at tri-state area Colleges,
day camps and nightclubs like Time Square’s Show
Nightclub, Mulcahys as the opening act for Northern
State and The Miss Venus swimsuit pageant, which he
hosted along with the current Miss New York Jaclyn Nesheiwat.
He has also been featured on select dates of the Camplified
tour in New York and New Jersey. Seldom Seen has created
a catalogue of songs designed to include feelings, thoughts,
current events and first hand experiences from everyday
life in the suburbs. He remains true to himself while
providing listeners with a never before heard “Hip-Pop”
sound. He is extremely marketable, an easy sell, image
and material wise, with his winning stage presence and
humorous lyrics. Internationally Seldom, as part of
3rd Infintry, opened for multi-platinum artists B2K
and Akon in Munich, Germany. The group’s song
“Sweat Tonight” (Shake it baby) has also
been marketed as the theme for the Munich-based fitness
Company Flexi Sport’s official fitness routine
music mix, after the group performed at several fitness
conventions throughout Germany to promote the song.
He interviewed on radio stations Energy in Munich Germany,
a hanful of college radio stations and also Party 105
in the Hamptons. Seldom gained sponsorship from Germany’s
K1X clothing line while touring in Europe and also co-wrote
“Bring it On”, which appears on X-Box and
Playstation’s "Narc" video game.
